Who were the original defenders of the faith?
They were not academics in ivory towers. They were apostles, prophets, and Spirit-filled believers—fishermen, tax collectors, and tentmakers who moved in the authority of the Risen King. Their defense was not a linear debate but a dynamic confrontation of two kingdoms.
In what capacity and authority did they defend it?
They operated under the direct mandate and unction of the Holy Spirit. Their authority was not derived from human institutions but from the Great Commission and the indwelling power of Pentecost. They defended the faith from a position of seated heavenly authority, not from a defensive, earthly posture.
What warrants the defense of the Christian faith?
The defense is warranted by the absolute, sovereign claim of Jesus Christ as the only Way, Truth, and Life. It is necessitated by the spiritual blindness of humanity and the active presence of demonic forces that hold minds and cultures in captivity. The faith is defended because souls and nations are at stake.
Who is called?
Every believer is called to be ready. But those who will lead in this hour are called to be more than ready with an answer; they are called to be conduits of the answer.

The world's method—a linear presentation of idea, claim, and call-to-action—consistently fails to produce lasting conversion. Why? Because it targets only the intellect, leaving the heart bound and the spiritual atmosphere unchanged. It argues about God without demonstrating that He is real, present, and all-powerful.
